Any suggestions on which Park & Ride sire would be most suitable. Would be driving from Hay Heath ?.

After the Donny game, which PNR was that huge queue for ?. Was it for Mill road or do they just queue all of the 3 park n ride sites up together ?.

Cheers for the info

Mill Rd gets full early on and it is the queue at the end of the game

There are meant to be seperate q's for the 3 P & Rs but the Mill Road one is big it seems to take over every other q. Maybe they will have better crowd control after the shambles of the Gillingham game.

Apparantly the Misras (however its spelt) House is the best as its currently underused.

Based on what has been posted here not through personal experience as I drive to Lewes and train it.

OK cheers. I guessed that queue was the Mill Road one. I am thinking it may be easier to actually drive to the Racecourse and avoid the queueing after the game. Shouldn't be too difficult getting out from there after. But then again ....

My suggestion would be either the Mithras House or Cockcroft park and ride sites in lewes road, unless you can get to Mill Road early. If you dont have to drive, getting the train from HH would probably be the quickest method of transport!! and you can have a drink....

That is what I have been doing but I am working night shift on Friday, so will have to get home Sat morning and get some shut eye, thus was thinking about driving this time.

Won't it be a pain getting to and from the racecourse back to HH when the Mithras House one is HH side of Brighton

I have no idea where Mithras house is. If that is the case , I will have a look. TA

Hollingbury exit on the by-pass.
Follow the sign to Coldean at the rbt at the top of the slip road - ie drive down Coldean Lane.
At the bottom (ie after you've passed the Hikers on your rhs) turn right at the traffic lights on to the Lewes Road.
Mithras Hse is on your lhs after about 1.5km, maybe a bit less. It's opposite the science buildings of Brighton University (incl the Cockcroft C/P) if you're familiar with the area - just don't be driving too fast as you approach as the signage wasn't brilliant when I first used it last season.

Advice? Avoid mill road unless you like queues. Mithras House buses leave the Amex almost empty after the games! I'm giving it a go for the first time this Saturday

It's unmissable - on both sides of the main Lewes Road (A270) into Brighton. The Brighton University Moulsecoomb site.

Approach it from the Brighton bypass, by leaving at the Hollingbury junction and going down Coldean Lane - then turn right at the traffic lights, just past the Hikers Rest. About a mile further on ... voilà !

If you're coming from Haywards heath head down to Ditchling, go over the Beacon, then turn down Coldean Lane. When you get to the junction of Lewes Road turn right and Mithras House is about 5 minutes down the road on your right hand side. Keep an eye out for the Cockcroft Building which is the the tall tower block on campus.

Yup. Another vote for Mithras House on the A270 (Lewes Road) - also has just about the shortest journey time to the stadium as well.

Not so, after the Donny game it was good but after the Gills game it was really busy and had to queue to get the bus back, so people are starting to use it more. But it is still FAR better than Mill Road..

The racecourse P&R is the least busy - barely a third full - so if you can get there it is likely to have the smallest queues and be easiest to get away from afterwards.

I have to drive on Saturday, from Gatwick, so will probably head for the Mithras House or Racecourse P&R site. However I don't have a book of travel vouchers, can I pay just this once? Can't seem to find details on the club site
