You could be right, I took "big" signing to mean a £M+ player, and I think I heard Johnny on the radio yesturday that so far Buckley was not quite making the grade in training, may need a some time to get comfortable.

I agree but I think Hoskins and CMS were Poyet's 1st choice forward line. I think Hoskins would have started if fit yesterday. Barnes is a stubborn git of a player and will come out fighting this season.

I would guess it is related to the comments that the reduction of subs to 5 means Jake Caskey will get no opportunities this season.
