Technical term - Ellipsis

Although in this context they may have signified an Aposiopesis [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aposiopesis]

I fully understand your point, but would plead in my defence that as BF asked earlier in this thread why I'd used a full stop- at the end of a sentence!- I decided it was best not to use words like "ellipsis" in order to prevent any further confusion.

Nah, just he sounds queer as f*** so asked a question, like you probably have in your nearly 1700 posts

"Queer as f***"? Another fine and witty riposte to add to your collection, William Shakespeare.

(He was a famous English playwright, by the way)

Spoilsport. But yes I take your point about not running before we can walk. Basic punctuation first.

Brighton's finest what exactly?

Idiot?

Neanderthal?

Alcoholic?

Illiterate?

Homophobe?

I was wondering the self-same thing Woody. Perhaps he'll be the finest shag that Master Daley has in Brighton, although I very much doubt if young Tom'd go for some half-wit decked out in Prada. I mean, it's all just sooooooo last century darling...

Folks... this thread is heading for 'Childish Ramblings' (well, actually, it's presently rather inaccessible alter ego "The Other Stuff")... any last comments before it goes?

Can't we play with him a little longer?

Actually screw that, I'm tired. Ban for homophobic and sexist comments?
