May your week be BANGERTASTIC

British Sausage Week Homepage

A sausage is a prepared food, usually made from ground meat (minced meat), ground pork fat such as fatback, salt, and spices (sometimes with other ingredients such as herbs). Typically the sausage is formed in a casing. Traditionally, sausage casings are made of animal intestines, though now some casings are synthetic

I used to beat sausage sandwiches but then the RSPCA stepped in and I have a 100 yard banning order from all meat in synthetic casing.

Isn't it also National Obesity Week this week?

So anyway, make it a jumbo sausage in a baguette, everything on and extra onions. In fact, just give me another one of those mothers to keep me going.

I enjoy a good British sausage as much as the next man (specially if the next man is Brett).
But when I'm doing a BBQ, I don't think you can beat a good old-fashioned german BRATWURST on the grill. They're skin-split-TASTIC.

I LOVE a bit of sausage as much as the next man, but EVERY day? surely not?

Those five million Brits must be HUGE.

How often do the other 55 million eat them?

I'm pretty sure that means that on average 5 million Brits have sausages on any given day, not that there are 5 million who eat them every single day? Does that make sense, not sure that it does?
