Very good signing indeed, but we still need a creative midfielder on loan.

Wasn't that meant to be Thornhill or even Davies (of the A variety obviously)

Quality signing. Shame we didn't do it as soon as Whing got injured. Or before.

Because then retards on here would have moaned that we're making too many loan signings and wont have any stability again.

As said shame it had to be proved by having to contstantly change the back 4, in the process getting poor results, that we needed cover at RB. Expected Slade/White/Booker to realise we were short on like-for-like replacements their.

Just spoken to a friend of mine who is a Watford fan, this was their opinion on Hoyte:

"he's not great at passing..makes loads of mistakes...he was rubbish for us...we couldn't wait to get him off the pitch!"

Sounds like our kind of player!

Hoyte, Elphick, Tunnicliffe and Wright the back four for tomorrow then I'm guessing.

Hmm...who's judgement should I go with?

A random Watford fan, or Arsene Wenger?

Are people being blinded by the name Arsenal? Over excited that we have a player of colour on our books? It's a short loan, hardly Ronaldo to Real or even 'little' Jimmy Sudbury going from Seaford Town Reserves to Lewes Reserves for two tracksuits and a £10 off voucher for the Co-op in The Meridian Centre, Peacehaven.

In addition to club football he was also a regular for England Under-19s helping the young Lions’ qualify for the European Championships. In December, Gavin, brother of former-Gunner Justin, put pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Club.

This last bit clinches it for me: Wenger sees him as part of the future. Good enough for me.

FLAIR!!

To be fair he's played for Arsenal's first team 4 times, and played for the England U16s, U17s, U18s, U19s and U20s.

He should be very good at our level.

Fair dos. I can never be bothered to do my research, or even read threads properly before posting my usual bubble bursting bollox without possessing even a vague grasp of the facts!

I've read the whole thread and I am still not sure if the Gavin Hoyte who has joined us has played for Grays or not.
