There was a documentary on TV a few weeks ago in which they investigated his family history and the theory that Hitler had destroyed genealogical records , evidence which proved he was of Jewish extraction was shown to be unfounded. They concluded that Hitler had covered up his family tree to hide the fact several generations of cousins were prone to mental health problems which was genetic.
