I will trying to get two season tickets this year (never had any before). Looking at the dates, it seems they will be sorted out straight after the seat moves, maybe on Wednesday the 20th of March?

Anyone know - should I get offered any ST - how the seat allocation is worked out? What options would there be within a price band?

Think you get to simply pick from available seats at the time

No more sure than you. Tho we can but hope and pray. The wailing and gnashing of teeth of the Mill Road walk-on travel cheats would be hilarious to behold :lolol:

I think you’ll waiting for many years to come for your dream on that to come true.

Literally 1,000’s pay the travel subsidy and then rock up at Mill Road etc walking. It must the same elsewhere. It works. Typically the car spaces are all taken early doors, in the final hour plus it’s the pedestrians.

Nah. I want it to be used by the folks that it was intended for ie those fans that drive in from a distance away. There's plenty of crazies that drive in from the likes of Swindon, North Wales, Merseyside and also those from neighbouring counties with shit transport links. This is who the P&R is intended for, not the wise guys that live just down the road.

Over the 13 seasons they park up and bus to the Amex, the only pressure to get their early came from competition to get a parking space.

If the club made the return journey car-users only, it’d only be viable to run a fraction of the buses.

i think not because they charge you for the rate at the time you renew. (ie: my son who was 21 in October is still paying , or rather I'm paying, the u21 rate)
Question for you then….i won’t be starting to pay for next season until the April dd….but hit 65 on March 3rd …but my ST renews on Feb 26th….no discount for next season?

Millions banked in player sales but still our prices go up. I'd be seriously unimpressed if i was in a category D or E seat getting a substantial hike, surprised there's not been more moaning about this. I guess it shows how rich some people are and how good the DD scheme is!

Wow Nearly £100 game ............. IMO and have been several times as a guest that is silly money.
Would be interesting to know how many are private and how many are business owned .
Indeed.

And I wonder why no 1901 tickets are showing for sale for the Palace game despite the exchange kicking in ages ago for that match.

I think your season ticket age for the year is based on your age on August 1st 2024 - given other posts in this thread (rather than when you start paying) . So i think you'll be 65+ for 24/25 . Congratulations !

So presumably if we have a season when we don’t sell any players you’d be happy for there to be a massive increase in ST prices? Don’t think it’s down to how rich our fans are, more likely that they have a reasonable understanding of how the economy works.

DD scheme is good however

Every year I point out the increases are a bit much and every year I get shot down… But Zone A has gone up £200 since the Alex opened for 4 less games - too much imo but hey ho that’s modern football and the prem…

I think the club keep back 1901 seats, like yours, for potential hospitality package sales.

No but when you know we're about to post our biggest ever profit having solid something like £200m worth of players it is a little harder to swallow a price increase that is higher than current inflation levels.

Thankfully the DD scheme keeps it affordable for me...just.

65 on March 3rd 2024?

Your ticket will be at OAP rate as you'll be 65 when the season starts

The increases this year are on average 6% - when inflation is lower and falling. That said in the last four years there’s either been a freeze or a small below inflation increase.

Plus even more millions spent by the owner providing a stadium and first class training facilities
