Nah it goes to the league plaice…Europa League, I think.
We’re well plaiced to make it to Wembley.Palace on the preceding Wednesday…lots to look forward too.
Best tie for us, but if we're being greedy (and we are) City away to Utd would have been perfect. City will have no trouble against Burnley, and there's a good chance we'll have to beat both Manc clubs to win.Woo-hoo! As near perfect as we could have hoped!
Erm yes you are getting ahead of yourself! And without wanting to tempt fate, or get too far ahead, if we can beat Grimsby, imagine getting the winners of Blackburn V Sheffield United in the SF.
Oh my days
But that's precisely the fun of the cup surely? Plotting the draw ahead!?Erm yes you are getting ahead of yourself!
My sisters were organising a get together (few days away every couple of years) - and chose April 22 w/e. I sort of jokingly said 'had a quick look - it's FA Cup semi-final weekend - I might be busy, ha,ha'. Glad they took it more seriously than I meant it now!
Yep - apologies - misread the OP as 'winners', not 'finalists'.If the FA Cup winners qualify for the Champions League then the Europa League place goes to the next highest league position to not qualify. This would normally be 6th place.
The FA cup runners up haven’t been given the European spot for quite a few seasons now.
NoIf Man Utd / Man City qualify for the champions league places within the league, do the FA Cup finalists get the European place up for grabs?
Asking for a friend.
For some….I just take it one game/round at a time …….any side who has got this far is a big threatBut that's precisely the fun of the cup surely? Plotting the draw ahead!?
