Bath, Somerset.
Astonishing that there are people prepared to pay good money to listen to his, er, um, lies, er, um, waffle [ruffles hair for comedic effect], er, um, [insert supposedly humorous comment about Peppa Pig], and, er um [insert random Greek or Latin phrase to impress the simple-minded], narcissistic bullsh*t.

Still, someone with an Eton education (fees currently £46,000 per year) and who can earn millions from public speaking is clearly anti-elite and represents ordinary working-class people against the Establishment, eh?

If some people have so much money to spaff, they should just give it to charity.

Astonishing some people actually think he was a good PM. The damage is did will effect a generation.

If and say "if" Labour get in they need to clean up this second jobs culture in parliament once and for all

Let's not call him BOJO eh? Or Boris. He's not your friend, he does not care about you, call him Johnson. Which is also slang for cock.
His family call him by his first name,. Alex, which doesn't sound so 'attractive'. It's all a persona, a fraud.

I see Boris has made £1m making speeches abroad since he stopped being PM earlier this year.
I was under the impression he is paid to be an MP still and attend the house of commons (this is his job).
Can't be right surely
Right and Boris in the same sentence?

Especially dishing out peerages for donations to the party.

I dont suppose any of you lot have Googled what Tony Blair has 'earned' for public speaking. When will you learn that they all have their nose in the trough. Its not reserved for the Tories.
Is Tony Blair still a serving MP?

With the JCB fella paying his rent/accommodation costs, he's clearly short of a few quid so probably needs a few more of these speaking gigs to keep up with his child support payments alone!

As others have said, I'm not sure what people saw in his speeches in his time as PM and thought "Yeah, I'll have a bit of that and happily pay six figures for the speech". What also baffles me, having written speeches and know people who still write them, is that he effectively just getting paid to read out words that someone else has put together for him (I'm assuming). Counter that with Stephen Norris, who I saw speak eloquently and on a wide range of issues the other month, with no notes, autocue or anything. Marvellous orator.

I am probably like the average voter, I don't follow politics up to the minute and don't buy a newspaper. I find them terribly depressing and they seemed to have targets that they constantly attack, it seems a very odd place to be, but of course, the ladies and gentlemen that spread this hatred are not accountable themselves for anything. This to me just qualifies them as weak, perhaps they should put their head in the noose and become an mp?
I have voted labour most of my life, but I do find people that are likable, are just likable.
Boris falls into the category of very likable by many people I know if he earns a few quid and is in demand fair play to him and any others.
If I am to vote labour at the next election I need to see a different leader as Keir does not inspire me when I see him, I find him unusually bland.
Does anyone know of an up and coming leader in labour that could match or beat Rishi?
