You’re absolutely right. I reckon we should follow the Nottingham Forest way - get rid of the whole squad from last season, bung in TWENTY new signings and let’s see where we go with it. Sorry . . . . what’s that . . . . we just lost 6-0 to Man City?

Yes you’re right, those are the only two options there are. You can think “well the front door needs replacing but I won’t for now” or you can burn the whole ****ing house down. It’s the dilemma every day on Homes Under The Hammer.

That’s such an irrelevant point and a cheap point to score/. This is a football forum, posters are fully entitled to express a view. If it’s only okay to make points if it’s ‘your’ money then literally other than Tony Bloom no one is entitled to an opinion.

I didn’t say people aren’t allowed to have an opinion, so you can put your toys back in your pram for a start.

The point I’m making is it’s very easy to post that we should go spend £60,000,000 on one player, but it’s not that easy when you’re the person who actually has to worry about the logistics behind it. Bloom isn’t just the person forking out a frankly obscene amount of money, he’s also the one that has to cope with the wages, signing on fees, agent fees that come with it and it still wouldn’t guarantee any form of success.

People are allowed to post the opinion that we should triple our record signing fee. But I’m also allowed that the people who believe that haven’t got a clue what they’re talking about.

Both Moises and Alexis will have very intense and long seasons with their involvement in the World Cup. Therefore to have a quality alternative will assist greatly. All three will need periods of rest.

I was about to say the same thing but I won't because a lot of people on here clearly think that everything in the garden is rosey; and the majority are always right, of course.

Highest ever finish in the league, brilliant chairman, brilliant manager, brilliant stadium, brilliant training complex, a strong squad with bags of potential with our youth and academy players, widely recognised for playing attractive football, a sound, well thought out strategy to make the club sustainable and universally regarded as being an exceptionally well run club.
The point is not that EVERYTHING in the garden is rosey, it’s that there is so much that is. Why not sit back and enjoy how much fun this is and focus on all the good things that are happening rather than making yourself angry and upset by focusing on the few things that aren’t going the way that you’d like.
I have been watching the Albion since 1974 and the club has never been in a better position, on or off the field.

It's a good job that we won't need to rest Welbeck too much after the Fulham debacle.

It’s succession planning too (which we are superb at these days) with MacAllister’s nearing the end of his contract.
If we get Billy Gilmour for about £10m, it’s very good business whatever the case with the forwards.

Some people also don't have stairs going up to the bedroom. Now that is a problem.

Thanks for your concern. I'm not angry and upset,. Nor am I unappreciative. I'm just frustrated that in a key area of business (signing decent strikers) we seem to fall well short of what is needed for a Premier League club.

Debacle? We lost a game of football, by a single goal, away from home, in the premier league, for the first time in 9 matches….

But if we'd had a decent striker on the pitch or any striker come to that we might at least have got something from the game. A wasted opportunity in my view.
