Trump

The latest seems to be that Trump is now arguing that he 'declassified' the documents when he was president, so they were okay to remove. And that he would have handed them over at any time if the FBI had merely asked for them.

So to follow the GOP lines are we supposed to believe that the FBI planted declassified information?

It is amazing that this will probably strengthen his base support. Could america be headed for civil war? And we know who has most of the guns! That country is even more screwed up than ours.

Ah but, Johnson is a proven XXXX yet they still want him ?

They aren't calling for depfeffel over Mother Teresa or George from Rainbow.

TBH I think I'd rather Johnson over Truss.
At least the lying **** is lying because he's a lying **** who only has the interests of himself, you can work with that.

Truss is a lying **** who thinks she is doing the right thing, despite her rank stupidity, and inability to do anything right.

If she were American all she'd say is 'I pray each night and God tells me what to do'.

You provided the quotation marks, but missed off the name of the committee chair you have quoted:

Lindsay Graham.

Will you also be providing quotes from Shaggy as evidence to support RikRok's denials of bathroom infidelity?

So that makes the investigation invalid and CP was working for the Russians after all and not the CIA so they FBI was right to spy on the 2016 Trump campaign using information supplied by the HC team  , OK then whatever you say

It seems Trump is claiming he secretly de-classified the documents so no crime.

Unluckily for him he has no idea whether Biden secretly re-classified them or not.

Of course there has to be an official record of (de)classification so that will all be cleared up very quickly.

She asks the ERG and they tell her what to do.

Please explain - Labour Party members chose Boris Johnson?
As wolf replied:

No, they chose Jeremy Corbin, which some believe handed victory to the Tories
It's more than some. Listen to the Labour party candidates up and down the country who faced people on doorsteps saying they'd like to vote Labour, but couldn't vote for Corbyn. My wife works for the NHS and always votes Labour, but even she couldn't vote for Corbyn.

as some would rather vote for a narcissistic, cheating, lying, serial philanderer, than someone who may or may not like the State of Israel...
I agree with the description of Johnson, I didn't vote for him, but Corbyn's views on the Palestine issue is not what lost him the election. You'd think some of the right wing people who can put up with Johnson would be fine with a bit of antisemitism anyway.

I didn't like Johnson before the election, and I liked him even less as he governed, but I'm still glad he won instead of Corbyn. Just imagine him in charge when Russia invaded Ukraine. We'd be sending arms to Russia.

Such a shame you decided to ruin a good, accurate, post with this lazy Tory propaganda.
It's these kind of lies which has kept us under Tory rule for all these years with no guarantee of an end in sight.

Trump is terminally delusional. Apart from anything else, it's an offence to remove government documents to an insecure location

It’s not been widely reported over here but yesterday a Trump fan (and Capitol stormer) named Ricky Shiffer decided he could use a nail gun to break bulletproof glass and mounted an attempted attack on the FBI offices in Cincinnati. Spoiler alert - it ended up for him exactly how you’d expect it to. Suffice to say he’s not voting in November.

To be fair, Corbyn did say we should send the samples from the Salisbury poisonings to Russia so they could tell us whether it was them or not. He might not be sinister in his motives but that was dumb as ****.

And we’ve a winner of the most ridiculous comment on NSC of the day!

Congratulations!

You're suggesting that "We'd be sending arms to Russia" is Tory propaganda? It was a joke. That's not been claimed by the Tory's has it? I genuinely feel it would be awful for Ukraine if Corbyn was in charge - we wouldn't be helping them at all. But I don't (seriously) suggest for one second we'd actually be arming Russia.

If you're referring to the 'arms to Russia', Jesus

Nope. The ‘glad he won’ bit.

Well and truly debunked. No PM has ever been kicked out half way through their first term after a record election win. Corbyn would have made an awful PM, but he’d have been many times better than Johnson.

Probably best not to write "Just imagine him in charge when Russia invaded Ukraine. We'd be sending arms to Russia", with absolutely no context other than at the end of a tyraid against Corbyn, all of which I agreed with.

The Tories don't have to claim it when lazy 'comedians' do their work for them.

I find it hard to believe a Corbyn government would allow Shell, Centrica and BP to clock up billions of pounds in quarterly profits, while UK residences are forced into crippling energy debt - with considerably worse to come.

But I guess that's not really sassy enough for you.

Oh ok, fair enough.

Yep, he was as awful as we feared he might be. I'm glad he was kicked out and would've been happy if he'd been kicked out sooner.
Corbyn would have made an awful PM, but he’d have been many times better than Johnson.
Well I disagree with you. He wouldn't have lied about - well, everything, so in that sense he'd have been better. But he would have talked about peace between Russia and Ukraine while Ukrainians got slaughtered, and he wouldn't have stood united with other western countries to support Ukraine. Ukraine would be in a lot worse position with Corbyn in charge.

At the end of the day Johnson is a self serving ****, but he's not caused the damage to the world that Corbyn would have. His repeated lies over partygate, and employing people he knows are wronguns, are examples of the sort of person he is, and why we shouldn't have him as our PM, but in the big scheme of things, those things haven't damaged the world.

But you go ahead and give me stupid awards.
