Because that’s the cap on away ticket prices.

My mistake, sorry I misread it. Ignore.

For a time I was similar to you. Actually lived in Anfield Road for a few weeks, a house, not the ground. Then spent a free years in Croxteth, Sefton Park area. When we first played Liverpool in Div 1. In the days you could roll up at the turnstiles and pay to go into the Kop.

Liverpool and Everton alternate weeks. Affordable.

CaptainDaveUK was the poster you were talking to. I just chipped in. I live over the river. Sefton Park is lovely and there are loads of good places to go out that side of the city.

It's fair to say that the Fulham messageboards , twitter etc are going ballistic over this. The Supporters Trust will be taking it up with the club in a meeting next week. I've only looked at Arsenal prices as a comparison and they are more. Its especially galling as (like the Albion) will be making most of our money from TV. To answer one person's comment above, Fulham aren't planning to have a 'neutral' section next season. Having said that, the club I'm sure will be trying to attract back the hordes of London tourists who used to fill that section along with away fans and a few Fulham. Once all of the new Riverside stand is open the club will probably drop prices to get bums on seats (& beer and shirts bought).

The whole stand opens for the 2023/24 season.
They’ve released 2000 seats in the lower tier of the new stand for this season with STs priced at £1000 for adults / £500 for children and no concessions. Fans who purchase a ST in this lower tier do so for this season only.

Well my season ticket at the Amex, Lower West Stand (W1G most expensive part of the ground short of 1901), isn't too far short of that figure now.

Taking into account Fulham is in London, and their new stand is their most presiigious, then maybe that's the going rate.

No disrespect but your ticket is £140 cheaper and the price of £1000 is for the whole lower tier not just the middle sections like yours at the Amex.
Having said that you’re right about London prices. Arsenal and spurs ST prices are quite horrendous.

For balance I’m paying £630 for the block next door (more off centre)

Will the whole Putney end now be for away supporters with the opening of the new stand?

No chance, they have to charge £30 for away fans, I imagine they will be giving them the 3,000 they have to and will be selling all the rest officially to home fans where they can charge more than double.

Croxteth is nowhere near Sefton Park. Toxteth is.

To buy a ticket in zone E in the West stand lower for Albion v Liverpool will cost £70 as a one off ticket price. It's not a huge difference.

Thats misleading. Very few tickets there that are sold as premium position. Most expensive seats at Amex for Grade A game is £58. and think others are available at about £43 which is a lot different to Fulhams cheapest £65
