They need all the fans they can get.... Couldn't even sell out a semi final in their own city... Embarrassing

Firstly anyone throwing a coin should be banned and is a bellend.

But on your second point, why are you saying that palace didn’t sell out ? It’s not true and in your heart of hearts you know that so it’s a silly thing to say.

Palace were allocated 38,000 tickets that sold out, Chelsea were allocated 38,000 and returned 1900 which were then given to palace who then sold those to.

I don’t mind general banter and Micky taking that’s all par for the course but just shouting out lies for the sake of it is pointless.

Maybe he misheard the instruction.

They’re meant to all go BOOM, not BALLOON.

Just a shame then that your players and manager forgot to turn up.

Well quite !

I personally thought the starting line up was wrong, but then I wasn’t at training with the players all week so I tend not to overthink it, I can’t say I went to Wembley thinking we would win so just enjoyed the day.

My biggest fear is having to go to Wembley anytime soon , what a fxxking ball ache that place is to get to and from, 8 stops on the train and 17 on the tube….in fact we have decided that if there is a next time we would get a mini bus.

I personally think Wembley stadium is shite the acoustics are shocking and prices eye watering.

I have found the best way to do Wembley now is to go to Northwood, there’s a relatively cheap car park just next to the tube. About 20 minutes to Wembley Park. There’s a couple of good boozers there.
After whatever event has finished you don’t have the hassle of going into central London, unfortunately there is still the arse ache of queuing to get on the station. I totally agree with what you say about Wembley in general.

Thanks for posting that, I think it’s an excellent article, his points are as true for Brighton as they are Palace.

Which bits do you disagree with?

Didn't realise our American co-owners are trying to buy Chelsea.

On the official palace website last Tuesday before we received the extra 1900.

All tickets for our sold-out FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea have now been posted to supporters.
The final tickets purchased via Ticketmaster and the club were sent first class on Tuesday 12th, meaning every supporter can expect their ticket/s to arrive shortly.

Supporters who requested to collect tickets via the club can do so from the Box Office at Selhurst Park on Saturday 16th April. The Box Office opens from 9am and is located next to Sainsbury’s.

If any tickets have not arrived in the post before you leave for Wembley, please follow the processes below.

Happy to be corrected but wasn't it the American's money which was ring fenced for the ground improvements?

I presume they would want their original investment back or would they write it off.

I saw a tweet on the day of the game.... It is ok, you can admit it... We would expect you to have problems selling out due to the fact you were only getting 14k in the championship

Oh, they'd want their non-existent, ring-fenced, cash back.

Controversial, as it would've been, we should have had the national Stadium built by the NEC, The Birmingham International Airport and Railway Station.

I'm not really sure why anyone is surprised Palace sold out an FA Cup semi final.

It's only when they're not in the top division their support just disappears. You know, gates of 15k in the Championship (whilst we were getting 26k under Hyypia), that sort of thing. Palace make Chelsea fans look loyal.
