'Why the fudge are you lot talking about Rwanda?'

Checks BBC news.

'You have got to be shitting me'.

What the hell is wrong with this country?
So so sad.

The only way this cake can be iced is if Eton's finest Monty Monty Fortescue-Smythe, happens to also own Air Rwanda.

It has got to be something way out there for you to post a serious response

I think this has concerned me even more that than national trajectory itself.

He's only got to hang on another 7 weeks for Brenda's platinum jubilee celebrations and the country will be awash with bunting, flags and rose tinted nostalgia

He's getting so desperate he's missing his target audience. Where was the three word slogan

There's not enough crayons in the world that would keep Ppf and Johnson's other supporters going through all 48 minutes of that :lolol:

The three word slogan will be:

“Asylum in Rwanda”

This works well because the acronym matches the same substance that is contained within Liz Truss’ head.

You see I have a bit of a problem now.

When your hero has lied to Her Majesty the Queen, to our sovereign Parliament and to all of the citizens of our country I am finding it extremely difficult to believe a single word spouted by the criminal bungle****.

Surely even you must be able to understand why this might be a teeny bit of a problem?

Pound to a penny this never happens.

You're probably right as this is a distraction from partygate.

There's also the problem of purdah today for 5th May elections, and also new policies are meant to be announced in Parliament, not the press.

Pretty sure it will be illegal under international law, (I stand to be corrected on this btw). That they would even consider this is just disgusting. This is the most morally bankrupt government I can ever recall this country having. A lawless out of control rabble intent on causing as much damage as possible, all delivered courtesy of an 80 seat majority with just over 40% of the vote.

Every time I think I can not be more appalled by their actions this government incredibly finds yet more ways to lower the bar. Absolutely rotten to the core.

I'm genuinely surprised.

My Grammar school must have been positively communist by comparison. I can't think of any time in my life when it would have been considered aceptable to dress up as an SS officer, fancy dress or not.

FWLIW I've gone the whole hog with FD for a few events in recent years, always themed. None of them war or extremist political lunatic themed

He stated it was a Bad Taste themed Fancy Dress.

I doubt that there is any intention that this will happen.

It is a cunning ruse the sole purpose of which is to move the headlines away from the criminal acts of Johnson and his cronies. Certainly on the Today prog on R4 this morning it had got top billing.

Far from sheltered.

I agree re the future, and past/present being a shifting tide . . .I look back at the 90's with mixed feelings, lad culture wasn't great. Fun though!! My lad thinks I'm a Neanderthal already.

Vampires are fictional, SS officer sadly not. I can't really see an excuse for ever having donned that particular uniform, FD or not.

Pirates weren't fictional (and neither were gangsters) but very popular as fancy dress. You're being far too senstive, trying to.apply 2022 PC to 50 or 60 years ago.
