Albion fans reacted with fury this afternoon when the Premier League’s televised schedule for December was announced and revealed that the Seagulls had been selected to be shown a grand total of ZERO times.

There had been widespread speculation amongst Albion fans that the home fixture against Liverpool would be selected for live coverage, and some supporters

Dutch midfielder Davy Propper took a few weeks to adapt to life in the Premier League, but the former PSV midfielder is beginning to find his feet and influence games.

The Seagulls are aiming for Premier League survival this season, with Propper's tenacity and distribution likely to be vital in helping them remain competitive throughout the campaign.

Out of sorts Everton arrive at the Amex to face the Seagulls who are looking to make it three straight Premier League wins on home turf.

After West Brom were despatched in convincing style, fellow top flight newcomers Newcastle were edged out by a Tomer Hemed goal in a tight contest to make it two home victories on the bounce for the Seagulls.

So this was our biggest away League fixture for 34 years. I was looking forward to it primarily as the first concrete expression of our wonderful collective achievement over the last 20 – as the banner says, ‘From Hereford To Here’. (As an actual game of football, I’m looking forward to Palace away far more.) Our support on the day was magnificent. Apart from that, things evolved more or less as I expected them to, both on and off the pitch. ...

Rushing 70 miles East in the rain, after Sunday morning kids’ football, slogging along the A27 in a stress, for a game we could just watch on the sofa in the dry. Why bother? It’s daft isn’t it?

Well, no. It’s bloody brilliant. What a superb performance, and what a terrific result.

One change in the Albion side, from the unfortunate reverse at Bournemouth – ageless skipper Bruno fit to reclaim his spot, for the visit of erstwhile nemesis Newcastle United. The last visit of the Magpies was a dramatic one – a ludicrous slice of fortune turning the game, and seemingly the Championship title race, decisively their way.

Newcastle United come to the Amex this weekend, with the clash featuring on Sky’s popular Sunday afternoon slot.

The Magpies arrive with three straight Premier League wins behind them, and will be confident of making it four in a row, not least because they completed the double over Chris Hughton’s men in the Championship last season.

Welcome to the Premier League, Brighton and Hove Albion. Three goals, three points, three cheers – the (proper) Albion looking totally comfortable at their new level, controlling a Premier League game like it was a routine home win over QPR or Rotherham.

Tony Pulis’ West Brom are a well-established, well-drilled Premier League outfit, enjoying status we aim for a few years hence. That the Albion more than matched them for most of this contest is hugely reassuring – more so than any dramatic underdog victory snatched against

Can Albion Break Their Premier League Goal Drought?

Albion’s efforts to add to their strikeforce in the Summer transfer window ultimately proved fruitless, and Chris Hughton will have to rely on his Championship promotion winning forwards for the first half of the Premier League season.

It all came down to the notoriously frantic deadline day as Tony Bloom, Paul Barber and Paul Winstanley

Despite the disappointing news regarding Raphael Dwamena’s failed medical, Albion’s transfer activity has recently picked up pace and is sure to continue in the final days of the transfer window.

Seven new players have arrived at the Amex for the club’s first season back in England’s top flight since the 1982-83 campaign, when the club’s sole Cup Final appearance coincided with relegation from the old First Division.

According to the bookies Chris Hughton faces a major challenge to keep

    Premier League, August 19 2017

Scanners beeped on the turnstile, the last few hundred fans bowled in, a roar immediately surged. Leicester had scored, and this didn’t feel like one of those days when the opener would herald a barnstorming Albion rebuke.

It’s easier to say in hindsight, but within minutes it was clear the team were well off the pace of

For so long we were on our way, (we’re on our way) then finally, on Saturday, we arrived. 25 seasons after Sky invented top division football, our very own little Brighton and Hove Albion, finally walked in the golden footsteps of Swindon Town, Wimbledon and Bradford City.

Not that the landscape is really in any way comparable, of course. Swindon took their own first steps, at home to a Leicester City side, featuring the dazzling skills of Richard Smith, Tony James and Colin Gibson, with a dash of flair added by their one exotic

With the summer (yeah right) break over, time for me to put virtual pen to paper once more. I never bothered with a write up of the anticlimactic Bristol City game, the unfortunate 2-0 defeat, away to David Stockdale’s Norwich, nor the rather apt last second cancellation of the title celebrations at Villa.

It’s that time of year when the football experts and "football experts" alike predict who will slip through the Premier League trapdoor to the Championship. Both the predictions and the betting markets themselves suggest the Albion will have to pull out all the stops to avoid an immediate return to the Football League.

Huddersfield are the clear favourites to go down, with Albion and Burnley similarly priced
