View Full Version : Ask Tank..............
a question. Seeing as its very quiet on here at the mo and there are just a select few posting, and we are bored too, ask him something and I will make him answer! Nowt rude though!
Does Mm set any rules for the players on a night before a match... no drink, no sex etc...

No drinking 2 nights before a game. He likes them to prepare right before a game, eat well, plenty of rest etc and no shopping!
Of course he stick to them.

What do the players think about the Falmer saga that drags on and on and on.................
If he wasn't a footballer what else would he be doing workwise?
On the pitch we don't seem to be missing Danny Cullip too much - how about in the dressing room ??
They hate the withdean as much as you lot, the longer it goes on for then obviously its serious for the clubs existence, which is a worry for the players and all the staff there too.

Does he find the Madjetski Stadium INTIMIDATING ??
How important is the support of the fans to the team and does criticism from fans affect Tank or the other players?

He only ever played football and cricket at school and apart from that he had a paper round, so hes never done anything else so its a hard question to answer!! And no he wouldnt run a boozer!

Good bloke, its quieter now hes gone. Ppl were under the impression that he was detremental to certain players but that was certainly not the case, look at his record.

Fans are very important, they can lift a game.
Maybe the younger lads get affected but its part of the game, and although its tough to hear it you shouldnt be a footballer if you cant handle it.

do you prefer playing in a 4-4-2 formation or a 5-3-2 formation, and what is the general preference in the team?
Do you find it easy to shrug off a defeat like today and concentrate on the next game or do you find yourself mulling over it?
Equally do you find yourself thinking over really good games where we pulled off a great win?

depends on who are playing, if the other team r playing 4-3-3 u HAVE to play 4-4-2 to have an extra man at the back, it the other team play 4-4-2 then u can either match them or play 5-3-2 with the wing backs pushing on to casue them problems.

Strange that Mr McGhee and the other trainers have been wearing Maroon for a while.
And now Maroon has won the vote.
Not that I believe in conspiracies or anything.

Cheers for answering so many questions and hope you keep playing blinders for the rest of the season.. (If you could let us all know when you're going to score next, that'd be good - you're the best bet going at away matches!). Yeah it would of been nice if you could've scored first at Spurs, i know a lot of people had that at very long odds including me :lolol:

How tall is McCammon exactly? The programme says he's 6ft 5, Charlie's diary says he's 6ft 3...

After seeing the cards do YOU think a female should have taken them??!
Well I think some people might have been a little more relaxed and perhaps looked a little less frozen with fear if a female photographer had been able to set up the shots. Especially the ones where everyone had their nuts draped with fruit...

It's amazing what men can achieve if they really put their minds to it. ;)

I agree with Hiney, first class thread.
I think this sort of stuff brings the fans and players closer.
Perhaps Guy you could spread the word amongst the players. I would love to have the same sort of thread with Charlie, I think that could be hilarious.
Many thanks Race and Guy.
Brilliant thread - Thanks Mr & Mrs B.
