Extraordinary scenes !.
I was resting on my couch watching the half time analysis and the phone rang. It was none other than the Albion legend Steve Gritt on the other end !.
He was responding to a letter I sent him regarding the REMF auction and he is going to send a signed characture of him that was given to him at the end of the great escape season when he truned an 11 point defecit into survival on the last day of the season !.
That will be a prized possession !.
I will let everyone know when I get it and it will go on the REMF website for the auction.
Steve Gritt Albion legend !.

Is he, perhaps, free on Friday and would he fancy a trip to the seaside?

He's my favourite manager of all time - given what he did with what he had in the time he was there.

Brilliant. Top man. I remember when he came into the stand after the match @ Leyton Orient to address the Brighton fans. That took guts and showed how much he cared for the club. Well done Steve. :clap2:
