There was appetite for all the Fury Wilder fights. Personally, I'd like to see the seemingly new improved AJ against Usyk. Priority is AJ v Fury though….regardless of the Usyk outcomes.

The Saudis are bringing us the best fights. I don’t like it happening over there but in this day and age they have the power, it’s swings and roundabouts. I hate them involved in football as they can buy the best players and that makes sure they are successful most of the time BUT you can’t get involved like that in boxing.

Saudi money in sport is largely wank. Golf is ruined. Newcastle. The 1 man and his dog watching Jordan Henderson before he scarpered in their shit football league. The Saudi Grand Prix. The 2034 World Cup.
Boxing, however, has at least put matches on. It's forced fights where they otherwise would have dodged each other. I doubt Fury Usyk happens without Saudi money. It's forced promoters hands. For now at least, it's the one sport where I sort of welcome the cash. I doubt it will last

I used to enjoy boxing, now it’s all about contracts and on par with WWE story lines for a build up.
They don’t really want to fight each other the pay check from Arab land has wetted the appetite. This fight would never happen in Manchester or Wembley.

Interesting stat came up yesterday from Colin Hart, it’s the first time since 8th March 1971, Frazier vs Ali at Madison Square Garden, that two undefeated heavyweights have fought for the undisputed titles.
Just watching the predictions on You Tube, HBO’s Jim Lamptey speculating that Fury would have beaten Ali, Marciano, Lewis and Dempsey.
